Jake Herman didn’t make the A-team in 2007, his freshman year at Middlebury College. Since then though, he hasn’t looked back.

Herman spent the summer of 2009 competing with Pike, the South Jersey club powerhouse, as a self-described “D-line stack rat.” In 2010, the Middlebury Pranksters made an appearance at D1 Nationals, and in 2011 Herman was named a captain of the team, also making the 1st Team All-Region squad. He began playing with the club team Southpaw, regional successors to Pike, in 2011, the year in which they placed 6th at Nationals, and in 2012 won a pro Ultimate Championship with the Philadelphia Spinners.

Herman is 24 years-old and hails from Wyomissing, PA. He’s a talented offensive cutter who always makes the right decision and never drops the disc. Jake’s one of the most energetic guys in the huddle, too, constantly hyping up his teammates and keeping them positive. Look for him to play some important O minutes in these last few games of the season.
